AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has warned Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish about a potential move to Premier League champions Manchester City or Manchester United this summer.Cesc Fabregas advised England international Grealish about the next stage of his career potentially in his column with the Daily Telegraph.
Manchester City have been linked with a big money move for Grealish who signed a new deal at Aston Villa last summer. It has been reported in the British media that Manchester City and the other teams keen on the 25-year-old Englishman will have to spend £100m to sign him from Villa this summer.
Cesc Fabregas wants Grealish to prove himself on the international stage at the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament to show that he can perform on the big stage. Grealish was one of the best players in the Premier League last season before a shin injury curtailed his progress at the start of this year. He’s presently with the England squad at Euro 2020.
Grealish missed out on the first game of the Euro 2020 tournament for England against Croatia which ended in a 1-0 win thanks to the second half strike from Raheem Sterling. England did enough to the game but the fans wanted more thereby calling for the inclusion of Grealish. The Villa skipper came on as a substitute in the second game against Scotland which ended in a goalless draw before he made his first start of the competition in the 1-0 victory over Czech Republic on Tuesday. He was one of the best England players during the game with the Czechs.
